Program Details

The 33 month to 5 Year Old Class

 

Children must be 33 months and toilet trained upon first day of school. Our Teacher to Student ratio is 2:15 with Lead Teacher and Assistant (9am–11:45) on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The mixed ages class is designed and conducted to provide developmentally appropriate play and project experiences for each age group as the child progresses towards Kindergarten.

 

Children ages 33 months to 5 years old practice social skills and the routine of school while they learn through play experiences. In addition to child centered art, music and movement, children are presented with hands on experiences during both inside and outside play.

 

 

The Pre-K  4 to 5 Year Old Class

 

Children must be 4 years old by Sept. 1st and be toilet trained by the first day of school. Our Teacher to Student ratio is 1:10 with the Lead Teacher. Our Pre-K class is offered from 9am - 11:45 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

 

Children that are in our Pre-K environment experience learning through a slightly structured daily routine. Our day includes child centered art, and hands on experiences both inside and outside play. These play experiences provide the opportunity to acquire and practice pre-reading, writing, math and science skills, as well as time to celebrate creativity and self expression during music and movement exercises.
